He suffered a martyr’s death and eventually became Finland’s patron saint. Henry remained in Finland to organize the affairs of the church and was murdered by a Finnish yeoman; by the end of the 12th century, he was revered as a saint, and he later became Finland’s patron.

As the Finnish version of the Irish saint, there are statues of him in Minnesota, depicted holding large grasshoppers in honor of his sacrifice. People wear purple and green on this day and celebrate by drinking wine and reciting his story. The funny thing was is that St. Urho doesn’t exist and never has.
